Hello! We are Elmer & Doris Yoder. We have four children: three daughters; Janae, Jeneva and Amber & a son; Andrew. Our children play a massive part in our french bulldogs care and puppy socialization. We live in Northern Indiana, close to the small town of Shipshewana. We own 11 acres of land, where we have plenty of room for our little hobby farm. We love our Shetland ponies, chickens, a few sheep and of course our most prized pets, our Frenchies! We adopted our first two female frenchies in 2021, and have since added a couple more. We really enjoy their temperament and silliness. French Bulldogs are typically known for their charming and affectionate personalities. Since they tend to drool and snore more than many other breeds of dogs, they don’t always make the best bed-buddies. However, the fact that they require less exercise than most breeds, they are more ideal for anyone searching for more of a lounging companion. French Bulldogs are typically pretty friendly around everyone, however be advised to be cautious introducing your Frenchie to ‘new-to-them people and pets’. While we have briefly began some genetic testing to ensure the best of health, we are a little ways away from 4 Panel Health Free. However, this IS our goal! Our puppies are well socialized, as it is our day-to-day standard to give them plenty of love and personalized attention. It is our goal that every puppy experiences little to no distress when moving to their forever home. Be advised, some puppies do however experience social anxiety and this simple transition doesn’t always happen with every single puppy.
